About The SECRET COPPER SHOPHand-crafted copper, always unique. All of my copper pieces are made completely by hand, and only of copper. While I can make pairs, or sets of items, such as candlesticks or lanterns, each piece is one of a kind. If you have a particular piece that you would like to have crafted, please feel free to give a call and we can arrange to meet. I craft individual wallhangings, lawn ornaments, sconces, and candleholders, plus nearly any type of copper work you can imagine. All lanterns, weathervanes and special pieces are signed, numbered and dated before leaving the studio. Copper will weather with time and turn a rich "patina." I prefer not to chemically treat the copper, as the color which results is not the same as it would be with natural weathering. All pieces are brightly polished before being sold, unless you request that your piece be treated. If kept indoors, the copper may be easily polished with Brasso or a similar metal polish. Just about any custom design can usually be accommodated, so feel free to try me with any suggestion or request. All custom designs will, of course, require a deposit. Traditional Copper Pieces include: Lanterns, Weathervanes, Candlesticks, Chandeliers, Gutters, Leaders, Flashing, Flower Boxes, Murals, Post Lamps, Signs, Silhouettes, Baskets, Fire Trucks, and Window Boxes. |

General Information On Pricing & CostsI create each piece individually. There are no stock numbers. No standard lists of items available. If you see something you like on the website, or have an idea of a piece you would like to have created, for yourself, a family member, friend or business - contact me directly and we can review the options available. The actual process and costs involved in creating custom piece varies with the details of each project - usually depending on the materials and time required to complete the project. Custom design pieces and the challenge of creating new works... are always welcomed. Do feel invited to call, visit or arrange for an appointment to discuss a particular project you may have in mind.
