In seeking new types of doors, I started using bronze sheet to make 'hanging' doors. This makes the door self closing, and is much easier than the common mailbox door. This round mailbox was built around the door. I've seen very few cylinder mailboxes, often they are a small section cut from a large pipe, usually homemade. I've never seen a mailbox similar to this in copper. |

I can mount house numbers and names on your mailbox. I have made them from brass and bronze, purchased brass numbers and attached them, and would suggest that hand painted gold numbers look terrific. The gold keeps its color as the copper tarnishes, and reflects at night. Every job is unique, so imagine what you would like, and let's try to do it. |
