Sometimes I sit for days thinking about alternatives. Some nights I can't sleep, anticipating how something is going to work out once I get into the shop the next morning. When the alternative becomes a working solution, it's worth it all. A little crazy, but worth it all, nonetheless. |

I don't like typical mailbox doors. I don't think they last real long, and after a while they might not shut well. I wanted to make a fool-proof door, self-closing, unique and sturdy. This box has a self-closing door, hinged from the top. A great solution to an ongoing problem. The door is bronze sheet metal, and I expect it will far outlast common mailbox doors. |
